Welcome to Age UK Oxfordshire
The Big Knit is back! We are asking for your help again this year in knitting as many little hats to help us reach our target of 10,000!
As from 21st May 2010 Age Concern Oxfordshire City & County formally became Age UK Oxfordshire. We work together with the new national charity Age UK, the force combining Age Concern and Help the Aged, and have joined them in a new partnership for the future. Age UK Oxfordshire continues to work with and for older people in and around Oxfordshire as an independent charity.
We are all growing older and many of us will live longer than previous
generations. At Age UK Oxfordshire we believe growing older should
be a time of happiness and fulfilment. And we are passionately devoted
to making that a reality for everyone growing older in Oxfordshire. We
are independent, experienced and local.
There are many ways we can help you. Do take a look at the services we
offer, from information to social contact to financial services.
There are many ways you can help us, please. We depend on the support
of people with energy or expertise or both, who care about older people.
I ask you to look and see whether you could help with any of the
opportunities.
